Side event at the 68th United Nations General Assembly
In the bid to include human rights in the post-2015 development agenda, the Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR), IBON International and Amnesty International in partnership with the Permanent Mission of Argentina and the Permanent Mission of Finland to the United Nations and the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), will be organizing an interactive forum on the 24th of September in Conference 7, North Lawn Building of the United Nations Headquarters, New York.
The forum, entitled Visions and Voices for Human Rights: Integrating human rights into the post-2015 sustainable development agenda will take place during the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York and will accommodate the range of current proposals from the human rights community worldwide. Furthermore, the event aims to integrate human rights standards including the right to development as part of the post-2015 development framework.
It will be an opportune moment for leaders from governments, UN agencies, civil society organizations, social movements, academia, and other major development cooperation organizations to gather and share their visions and perspectives on a transformative sustainable development agenda aligned with human rights and the right to development.
To register for this event, please fill out the online form here . If you experience any difficulty completing this form, contact CESR Communications Coordinator Luke Holland at email@example.com.

The Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR) works to promote social justice through human rights. In a world where poverty and inequality deprive entire communities of dignity, justice and sometimes life, we seek to uphold the universal human rights of every human being to education, health, food, water, housing, work, and other economic, social and cultural rights essential to human dignity.
