In 2010, IBON International:
- contributed to the policy advocacy gains of peoples’ movements on the issues of aid effectiveness, climate change and food sovereignty;
- helped people’s movements and CSOs to proceed from national processes into the various global and regional processes;
- brought key global issues – particularly on aid, climate, G20, migration, and food – closer to realities of peoples’ movements, and enabled a large number of CSOs to deepen their understanding of these issues through information, education and communication products, and;
- enabled CSO platforms and groups to work together, build common agendas, and identify arenas for engagement, by supporting campaigns that enhance their capacity to advance their issues more effectively.
