[WEBINAR] Reclaim Our Lands, Forests, and Rivers: A CSO Review of Kenya's Amended Climate Change Act

Reclaim Our Lands, Forests, and Rivers: A CSO Review of Kenya's Amended Climate Change Act

6 October 2023 (3 PM East African Time)

Venue: Marble Arch Hotel, Nairobi

In 2023, Kenya introduced carbon trading as part of its Climate Change Act. Carbon trading is framed as a nature-based solution to the climate crisis; however, it can facilitate the corporate takeover of Kenya’s climate and environment agenda.

The webinar aims to discuss carbon trading and carbon markets in the context of the Climate Change Act to help climate justice activists mobilize against the corporate capture of the climate agenda.
