This is to inform the public, our partners and allies that effective February 1, 2024, Rebecca Awinja of Kenya Environment and Waste Management Association (KWMA) is no longer affiliated with IBON Africa.

She is not authorized to engage or perform any transaction with any individual, organization, or government institution on behalf of IBON Africa on any matter whatsoever. IBON Africa will not be liable for any transaction made by her. Please report immediately to the nearest police station if any such unauthorized activity happens.

Awinja has two pending cases of obtaining money by false pretense – one was reported at Ndumberi Police Station on 29th January 2024 and another at Kiambu County Police Headquarters on 31st January 2024.
