WATER FOR THE PEOPLE NETWORK

The Water for the People Network (W4PN) is a campaign network that supports water-related struggles and victories against water privatisation. Its main advocacy is to present the ill-effects of monopolisation and further commercialisation of water services, especially in the global South.W4PN presents community-based strategies for the conservation and rehabilitation of water resources and the operation and management of water infrastructures and services. With IBON International as its secretariat, W4PN serves as a coordinating body for joint actions and campaigns on water-related concerns in the national and international level.
