This session will present progress and challenges in the commitment to sustainable production and consumption (SCP) in Asia-Pacific. It wiIl present the findings of a research project by IBON International, with the support of the Swedish Society for Nature Conversation (SSNC). The volume containing the research findings, featuring the country cases of Indonesia, Kenya and the Philippines, will be available for online download for free soon.

The session will be held under the theme “Imagining Sustainable Futures and Transforming Cultures” at the Global Research Forum (GRF) on Sustainable Production and Production. The GRF brings together individuals and organizations engaged in research and its applications on the transition towards sustainable production/consumption systems from various regions of the world.
