The webinar aims to critically assess the current role of multilateral development banks (MDBs) including the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in the global climate finance architecture, and examine the implications of channeling climate finance through MDBs. The discussion will be timely given the upcoming IMF-WBG Annual Meetings and the recent proposals from developed countries for the Loss and Damage Fund to be under the World Bank.
