Joint CSO Submission to the First Global Stocktake: Human Rights-Based Climate Action

The Global Stocktake of the Paris Agreement is a process that aims to assess the implementation of the Paris Agreement. This document is a Joint CSO Submission to the First Global Stocktake by IBON International, International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs, Center for International Environmental Law, FIAN International, Heinrich Böll Stiftung Washington DC, Indigenous Environmental Network, and EarthRights International. In their submission, CSOs argue that the Global Stocktake should effectively cut across the interlinked areas of climate change and human rights to be able to better inform the change that is needed towards achieving the purposes of the Paris Agreement.
