Today, global issues are increasing in magnitude and so do the people’s responsibility to confront different challenges. Political, economic, social and cultural rights of the people remain unevenly addressed. The growing social unrest or popular protests around the globe underscores the need to deliberate on existing global conditions and collectively work for a more coherent and integrated response.
Plenary and workshop discussions will examine the lingering global crises, their impacts on the people, and the people’s views and responses, from which we also hope to draw resolutions for collective action.
