“Just be sustainable” has become the neoliberal smokescreen of advanced industrialized nations, their powerful corporations, and international financial institutions to shift the responsibility of sustainable consumption and production onto individual consumers.

Through this zine, we aim to envision a world where we are not confined to the hollow mantra of “just be sustainable,” but instead, where systems are decolonized, community innovations are respected and supported, and genuine progress toward sustainability could be a reality.
