As the curtains go down on COP 23, the world sees more of the same, with governments locked in negotiations, cooking up ‘solutions’ that prop up the dominant systems of economy and politics that has brought the world to its current state of multiple crises.
While the overall picture is far from ideal, there have been some signals that allow for a bit of optimism, especially as there is a need for urgent and immediate measures to ease the burden of climate impacts.
