The Asia-Pacific Research Network (APRN) is a network of leading non-government research organizations in Asia and the Pacific, established to develop cooperation and promote the exchange of information among alternative research centers and social movements in the region.
APRN initiates research or supports research initiatives of its members and people’s organizations they work with. The network’s research efforts has helped in highlighting critical issues like trade and debt, financing for development, food and agriculture, migration, transnational corporations, regional cooperation, and human rights, among others.
IBON International engages with APRN to raise capacity in advocacy and education, particularly in the conduct of research and knowledge-sharing activities that contribute to social change.
